The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board of Directors elected annually by the active members and Members in Perpetuity.

The Board of Directors shall consist of eighteen (17) active or Members in Perpetuity of the Association, and one (1) Associate Member or Associate Member in Perpetuity elected by the Associate general membership, each of whom shall hold office for a period of three (3) years.

To ensure continuity of operations of the Board of Directors, the membership shall elect only six (6) members to the Board each year for a term of three (3) years. Additionally, no more than two (2) members from the active battalion shall be elected to the Board of Directors in any one (1) year.

To fulfill an un-expired term of four or more months of any member of the Board of Directors, the Association shall nominate and elect a new member to the Board at the next regular meeting of the Association.
